The building occupies a prime beachfront site in Canggu, Bali. It will be operated by the InterContinental Hotels Group under the 5 Star InterContinental brand.
Dramatic architecture and landscape designs by the world famous Bensley Design Studio are the standout elements of this project.
Total area is 22,700 m2 and there are 160 guest rooms. There is 1 basement level and 4 above ground levels on a site that slopes down to the ocean.
Some of the key components of the development include: operational rice paddies; elevated walkways to guestrooms passing through beautiful tropical gardens; Surfville restaurant; Dress-up bar.
The MEP designs include: 100% standby power; hot water generated by solar collectors and heat pumps; pre-cooled fresh air with heat recovery for improved comfort, improved humidity control and reduced energy consumption; full on-site waste water treatment plant with treated water used for toilet flushing; sea water reverse osmosis plant for potable water.
